RFP for Strategic Planning Facilitation

The Spokane Housing Authority (SHA) is launching a strategic planning process that will outline its strategic goals for the next five years.  The purpose of this request for proposals (RFP) is to solicit the services of a consultant to facilitate the strategic planning process.  The selected consultant will solicit input from the broader community, including, but not limited to SHA constituency and stakeholders (internal and external).

Spokane Housing Authority (SHA, owner) intends to enter negotiations with qualified material forensic and failure consulting engineering firms to 1) evaluate a sample of water-supply systems and components to determine causes of regular domestic water-supply copper tubing failure and leakage, 2) identify and prescribe solution and approaches to effectively correct the ongoing failure experienced by these plumbing components. 3) Evaluation of the building envelope including documenting the existing stucco conditions, identifying the recommend repairs determined as necessary, and designing an effective solution.

Mainstream Voucher Program Referral Providers

Sealed applications will be accepted at the 25 W. Nora office of the Spokane Housing Authority (SHA), or through electronic submission to [email protected]. Proposals must be submitted by 4:00 P.M., March 8, 2021, for the referral of low income households to SHA, who meet the requirements of the Mainstream Voucher program as detailed in HUD PIH Notice 2020-01 and described in HUD regulations (24 CFR 982), for the purposes of receiving rental assistance.
