Shelter and Safe Spaces
- Go to the Spokane Convention Center at 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd., Spokane, WA 99201. Free Parking, pets welcome. Basic necessities, meals, and support.
- YMCA of the Inland Northwest is opening all local branches to evacuees who need showers or a temporary place to rest. A valid photo ID is required for access. The facilities close at 8 p.m. Sunday and are open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. The following locations are participating:
- Central YMCA, 930 North Monroe Street
- North YMCA, 10727 North Newport Highway
- South YMCA, 2921 East 57th Avenue
- Valley YMCA, 2421 North Discovery Place
- For RVs and Livestock, and pets – Spokane County Fair & Expo Center at 404 N. Havana, Spokane Valley.
- For Pets: The Barking Lot – call to check availability at (509) 564-6066.
- Community Housing Board
The Community Housing Board is a free list of available rooms, homes, RV spots for either free or reduced costs. This list is created and run by members of the Spokane community. To browse available housing, offer a place to stay, or donate to fire victims visit the Project Spokane Website.
Food and Household Goods
- Those with Washington food or cash assistance who lost food, benefits, or items because of fire, call 1-877-501-2233 or contact your DSHS office for replacement food benefits.
- Second Harvest Inland Northwest check the website for mobile food trucks and open hours.
- Northeast Community Center call 509-487-1603 to confirm availability of items for your needs. 4001 N Cook St.
- Global Neighborhood Thrift – clothing vouchers. Open Mon-Thurs 9am-7pm and Fri-Sun 10am-5pm. 919 E Trent Ave.
- Partners Inland Northwest – essential supplies, clothing, and diapers Mon-Fri 9am-3pm. 10814 E Broadway Ave, Spokane Valley. For other emergency services, please call 509-508-4576 for an appointment.
- Project Beauty Share
- Spokane Human Society – pet supplies. 6607 N Havana St.

- Veterans seeking assistance with VA benefits or accessing medical care – Spokane County Regional Veterans Services at 1117 N. Evergreen Rd., Suite #2, Spokane Valley.

Homes Lost or Uninhabitable Because of Fires
If you have rental or homeowner’s/renters insurance, contact your insurance company. Photograph damage before cleaning, keep receipts for expenses (such as hotel, food, clothing).
