Mainstream Voucher Program Referral Providers

Sealed applications will be accepted at the 25 W. Nora office of the Spokane Housing Authority (SHA), or through electronic submission to [email protected]. Proposals must be submitted by 4:00 P.M., March 8, 2021, for the referral of low income households to SHA, who meet the requirements of the Mainstream Voucher program as detailed in HUD PIH Notice 2020-01 and described in HUD regulations (24 CFR 982), for the purposes of receiving rental assistance.

Description

Spokane Housing Authority (SHA, owner) is requesting proposals for the remodel of four vacant 2-bedroom/1 bath apartment homes, a small office building and site improvements at the Cedarwest Apartment site located 4018 W. Rowan Avenue, Spokane, WA, 99205. The intent is to bring the four units and the site up to Federal ADA Standards.

Contractors will be engaged in the demolition, and remodeling of these four units on a phased construction schedule specified by the SHA. The sitework can occur on a different schedule at the discretion of the owner and once weather is acceptable for sitework. The General Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to pay the greater of either Davis-Bacon or State prevailing wages pursuant to the Wage Determination that is included in the bid documents.
