DESCRIPTION:To whom it may concern\, \nAs of August 30\, 2021 at 8:00 am\, the Spokane Housing Authority (SHA) will open the waiting list for project based voucher (PBV) units located at Clare View Seniors Apartments to all new applicants. Please keep in mind that certain eligibility requirements apply. \nThe Clare View Seniors Apartments are located at 4827 S Palouse Hwy\, Spokane\, WA 99223. This apartment community was built in 2013 and has 3 stories with 184 units\, including 33 units of project based vouchered housing. The property contains both 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom residences and includes a variety of features and amenities such as convenient on-site parking options\, smoke free options\, and high speed internet access. \nTo be considered for tenancy a household must consist of at least one member who is over the age of 55 or who has a verified disability. \nPlease visit the Clare View Seniors Apartments’ leasing office at the address above or contact the office at (509) 252-6500 for information on how to apply. SUMMARY:Notice of Waiting List Closure for the Project Based Voucher Program
DESCRIPTION:As of June 25\, 2021 at 5:00 pm\, the Spokane Housing Authority (SHA) will be closing the Project Based Voucher Program waiting list for the Pope Francis Haven apartments to all new applicants. SHA will continue to take applications received in the mail after June 25\, 2021 as long as they are post marked prior to\, or no later than\, 5pm on June 25\, 2021. \nSHA does not take this action lightly and recognizes the tremendous need for affordable housing in the Spokane area. In compliance with Federal code 24 CFR 982.206\, and as recommended by the Housing Choice Voucher Program Guidebook\, the SHA has determined that the wait for housing for new applicants has become unreasonable and has decided to close this waiting list until such time that the waiting time for available housing is no longer than 12-24 months from the time of application. \nThe full notice may be seen at this link.
