Our Section 8 Waiting List is not accepting applications at this time.

Please check our website's main page,
or this page on a regular basis for future application deadlines.

For those who applied during our December 3rd to December 22nd, 2008 open application time:

  • A DRAWING was held on February 6th which determined random placement on the waiting list. Only 2,500 names were drawn and received a place on the waiting list.
     

  • Letters of placement or non-placement were mailed before March 15, 2009. 
     

  •  Applicants may visit the homepage of this site or call (509) 252-7122 after June 1, 2009 to determine the 2008 lottery number being served.
     

  • Only one application per household will be accepted and applicants must be 18 years of age or over.
     

  • There is NO advantage to submitting an application on the first day.



Remember, it is your responsibility to inform us of address changes or changes of circumstance which affect your lottery 'active' status. Please download and mail the following form to: Wait List, NEWHS, 55 W Mission Ave, Spokane, WA 99201.
