Section 8 Project Based Vouchers

Application

Sealed applications will be accepted at the 55 W. Mission office of Spokane Housing Authority dba Northeast Washington Housing Solutions (NEWHS), on or before 4:30 P.M. PDT, April 15th, 2010, for the distribution up to a total of fifty (50) Section 8 Project Based Housing Choice Vouchers to be awarded on a competitive basis. Applications will be accepted for developments in the Counties of Spokane, Stevens, Lincoln, and Pend Oreille; and the Cities of Spokane and Spokane Valley; from non-profit and for-profit developer/owners of existing units, units to be substantially rehabilitated and/or for new housing development.

Information on the program, selection criteria, application documents and contacts can be obtained at the NEWHS’ website at www.spokanehousing.org.

Final approval of applications for contract terms and duration are subject to approval by Resolution of the NEWHS’ Board of Commissioners.
