This rental assistance program allows households to find a unit of their choice.  Tenants pay 30-40% of their income and NEWHS pays the remainder up to the Payment Standard directly to the Property Owner. Public Housing:

NEWHS' owns 125 units in Spokane County consisting of single family homes, duplexes, triplexes, and the Parsons Apartments.  If you choose to apply for Public Housing these are the only units available for the Public Housing Assistance.

• REMEMBER - It is the applicant's responsibility to keep the waiting list information current at all times. Your application will be canceled if you fail to respond to mailings or if mail is returned to Spokane Housing Authority as undeliverable.  Please report all address changes.
