The
Parsons Apartments is a 5-story community consisting of 50
apartments (46 one bdrm and 4 two bdrm) for elderly and disabled.
A piece of Spokane history, it was formerly a hotel and card room.
The building was extensively rehabilitated, and an elevator was
added. There is a community room with a full kitchen
facilities, a rooftop garden, and on-site laundry facilities. There is an active
Resident's Association, police museum nearby and is within three
blocks of the Spokane river. Spokane Housing
Authority maintains a waiting list for this subsidized community,
which is part of the Public Housing program.
