From 10 A.M. on January 26, 2015
Until 3:00 P.M. on January 30, 2015

Please be aware, read our notice about waiting list phone scams, and protect your personal and credit card information. Our application process for the Housing Choice Voucher is free of charge.


  • Only one pre-application per household will be accepted and applicants must be 18 years of age or over.

  • There is NO advantage to submitting an online pre-application on the first day.

  • In February 2015, an electronic drawing will be held to determine random placement on the waiting list. Only 600 pre-applications will receive a place on the waiting list. Applicants may visit www.spokanehousing.org for information on how to determine if they were or were not placed on the 2015 Lottery waiting list.

    Keep your mailing address current by submitting a Waiting List Change of Circumstance Form. Failure to keep your information current can result in removal from the waiting list.

    If you need additional assistance in applying online:
  • Visit SHA at 55 West Mission during regular lobby hours (8:30 to 4:00 Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and 1:00 to 4:00 on Wednesdays).
  • Visit the following partners, who will have staff to assist applicants with the online pre-application and/or computers with internet access available for use (hours may vary) include: CHAS, CPS Juvenile Court, DSHS Offices, Family Promise, Lincoln County Family Resources, Family Services Spokane, Goodwill, Northwest Fair Housing, St. Margaret’s Shelter, Salvation Army, SNAP, Spokane Community College, Spokane County, Spokane Housing Ventures, Spokane Tribes, Tincan, Transitions, Volunteers of America, World Relief, and Your local Library.
  • Visit the Spokane Housing Authority booth at Homeless Connect on January 27th.
