Here's the updated information about the OWL waiting list and checking your status:

1) If you log in and see a number, status, and "Active" then you are on the lottery waiting list.

2) If you can log in and do not see any information, or see other waiting list names, you did not make it onto the lottery waiting list

3) If the system does not recognize your SSN, then you did not make it onto the lottery waiting list.

Please be aware, read our notice about waiting list phone scams, and protect your personal and credit card information. Our application process for the Housing Choice Voucher is free of charge.

  • Only one pre-application per household will be accepted and applicants must be 18 years of age or over.

  • There is NO advantage to submitting an online pre-application on the first day.

  • In February 2015, an electronic drawing will be held to determine random placement on the waiting list. Only 600 pre-applications will receive a place on the waiting list. Applicants may visit www.spokanehousing.org for information on how to determine if they were or were not placed on the 2015 Lottery waiting list.

Keep your mailing address current by submitting a Waiting List Change of Circumstance Form. Failure to keep your information current can result in removal from the waiting list.
